First Date Whereabout
Oh no, not another crappy dating blog wannabe post”
No worries, this won’t end up in me telling you folks how to live or plan your (existing or non-existing) lovelife(s). Instead, I wanna give you some advice on what you could do in certain situations. As for this post I will take an approach on the first date issue of where to invite your newly girlfriend in the making.
To narrow the locations down you should know a few things about girls/woman regarding their preferences if it comes to meeting-places for a first date:
- They hate intimate places (so your apartment will be off the list)
- Weird dark places equals #1 (parking lots are a def. no go…for reference go watch the movie “P2″)
- Sport events are only accepted if the girl specifically told you she likes it (so in 98% of all cases, that’s a no)
- Any place where she feels immoderate is also off-list (your favourite bar or any place where you know a lot of people while she doesn’t)
So, after ruling out most of the fun places to go, there are of course the usual suspects like bistros, cafes, restaurants (NOT Starbucks!) and henceforth. So in order to surprise her with a more original idea of a first date invitation, here is a list of three places u can try next time:
- Ice-Skating hall (Lots of people/couples, friendly atmosphere, and even if neither of you is any good in ice-skating, you will have quite some fun)
- Musicals (You probably want to make sure she’s into such stuff, but if that’s the case, then u got yourself a nice romantic location. In addition you also won’t have to say much since the actors will do most of that job, so you can’t fu**up that badly. Another plus would be the fact, that after the Show, you already have a topic to talk about, so no weird silences)
- Planetarium (Dark room, lots of projected stars on the sky and definitely one of the most original ideas for a date)
To sum it up, try to be different without appearing too weird, girls sure like unusual places where they still feel comfortable.
I would like to see some comments of you for this post, may it be positive or negative feedback. It would surely be cool if you would post any experience of yours with one of the locations I posted.
